In the context of its growing activities in Luxembourg, our client, a leading international life insurance Group, is looking to recruit one (m/f):
Experienced Business Controller
Your challenge
- You are responsible for group consolidation, controlling & management reporting globally (data management, forecast, cost control, monthly closing and reporting, budget analysis, etc.)
- You are responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting, and for the development of the internal reporting
- You work in partnership with local finance teams for the creation of budget, plans and forecasts
- You take part in improvements of controlling processes
- You are involved in various projects and special tasks.
Your profile
- University degree of applied science in Business Administration (or similar)
- You have acquired a global & operational controlling experience (at least 10 years’ experience) in international & multicultural environments in Luxembourg and/or abroad
- Open-minded you have strong interpersonal and communication skills and are able to convince at all levels
- You are intellectually agile, with strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to switch between the global view and the line item level
- Pragmatic with a hands-on approach you are able to adapt to changes smoothly
- You possess strong affinity for figures, IT & process improvements
- Autonomous and very well organised, you are driven by delivering top performance, and are able to meet strict deadlines and to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint), and the knowledge of an ERP system
- Excellent command of English (must), fluency in German (strongly desired) and French (a plus).
