Life Insurance –Investments Analyst & Back Office Officer (CDD 12 Months)

Your main responsibilities will be:

Analysis of securities and correct application of CAA requirements in term of polices’ underlying assets prior to insurance policy acceptance or new investments in existing policies investing mainly in dedicated funds and external funds

Analysis/follow up and update of portfolio’s investment risk profiles in the internal system

Control of investment proposals from advisory asset managers, orders management and follow-up
-
Participation through production of reports from the internal system to the quarterly CAA reporting

Operate within the Back Office Investments departments activities:
-
Daily input of the depositary banks account statements, transactions in securities and currency quotations
-
Follow-up of requests on transactions, valuations, costs, insurance policy events (new subscriptions, additional payments, partial and total surrenders)

Day-to-day relationship with asset managers and intermediaries by answering to their requests and by informing them of all corporate events

Follow-up of debit accounts both with the internal asset management system and with the depositary banks/asset managers

Monthly cash and securities reconciliation process

Monthly valorisation of dedicated funds, justification of significant differences and injection in internal system through interface

Insure collaboration with and support to the other internal departments esp. during the end of month closing process

You should :

Have experience in Back Office Securities and in Life insurance

Good knowledge of financial instruments and of applicable regulations from Commissariat aux Assurances related to securities and investment limits for Life Insurance products esp. for dedicated fund and external funds

Be fluent in written and spoken English and have a good working knowledge of French. Knowledge in Italian would be appreciate

Be able to manage high quantitative service level with high quality standards

Be used to work with deadlines and company’s procedures

Want to work within an international environment and give proof of strong ethical and client focused capabilities

Have a good knowledge of Excel, Bloomberg and Telekurs
-
Be proactive, well organized and rigorous
